Breast-fed Babies are Less Stressed

I think a mother nursing her baby is one of the most beautiful things in the world. It's best to breast-feed at least a year and really as long as you and your child want to. And here's more evidence that's true!
Scientists learned that breast-fed babies handle stress better when they're older than babies who were bottle-fed. They studied 9,000 children at birth, age 5 and age 10. One thing they found was that breast-fed babies whose parents divorced or separated were twice as likely to be highly anxious as babies whose parents didn't. But bottle-fed babies of divorce or separation were nine times more likely to be highly stressed!

It's ironic that an action such as breastfeeding that is fundamental to our species has caused so much controversy in America and a few other societies. America has built a culture of shame where children are taught not to feel good about who and what they are, but to be ashamed of their bodies. And that shame doesn't suddenly vanish at puberty, or even at legal adulthood.
And it's also odd that, a hundred years or so ago, men wouldn't be "topfree" in public any more than women would. Now, males can be topless openly, but females can't. Does this mean that males don't have to be ashamed of their chests, but females do?
Let's go back to breastfeeding being beautiful like it is described in that extremely controversial book that challenges so many of the standards of modern day America, the Bible.

Breastfeeding? Oh my Goddess!
Don't you know the horror that can inflict on young minds? Haven't you heard of the Janet Jackson Syndrome, that viewing an exposed breast can cause untold and tragic trauma to anyone under the age of 18 (or to anyone older who watches televised professional sports)?
You need to get back in the closet, back to the Dark Ages where you belong! (Oh, no wait; breastfeeding was considered to be perfectly acceptable in the Dark Ages, and a woman publicly displaying her breast was considered to be a sign of virtue in the Renaissance. And it is described as beautiful in the Bible. Never mind).

Men's chests are sexy maybe they should be covered too! lol Really women should be able to breastfeed anywhere and show their breast. The Janet Jackson Syndrome isn't real! lol

How on earth could anyone think there's a problem with breastfeeding? What's wrong with these people!

There's breast feeding legislation now! It gives benefits to companies that support it.
Its at http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.R.2236:
Thanks for the notice!
To all Americans, you can learn how to write your representative in support of (or opposition to) this bill at http://www.house.gov/writerep/
