Birthers or Bigots?
Has America really become more tolerant since the sixties? In the sixties Rosa Parks got thrown in jail because she didn't sit in the back of the bus. In the sixties blacks couldn't eat at white restaurants or go into a white restroom.
Many people fought these laws and some even died so that minorities could gain the same privileges as white people. True, this mostly happened in the south, but black people and other minorities were discriminated against everywhere in America.
We fought and won in the sixties. How are things today?
We have people questioning the president's birth certificate. It has become so silly that President Barack Obama felt he had to release the long form of the birth certificate in order to put to rest this nonsense.
But it has not stopped. Some birthers are claiming the long-form certificate (and the previously released birth certificate, and the reports of baby Barack's birth in a Hawaiian newspaper, and verifications made by the U. S. government years ago) are all fake. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal brought the issue up a few days ago when he supplied his own birth certificate even though no one was questioning his birth. And within the last 24 hours Psychology Today published an article looking for the true reasons behind the birther issue.
It can never be put to rest because the real issue is not the president's nationality, or how he got into Harvard, or his religion. No! The real problem is the president has the unforgivable temerity to be Black. The real issue is that President Obama is African American and many conservatives cannot handle it.
They cannot understand how an African American could win the presidency. They cannot get a grip on reality. So they resort to extreme racist tactics like questioning his citizenship; his religion; and creating crude pictures of Michelle Obama looking like a monkey. Donald Trump practically did everything but call President Obama the N word. We are in a new age. It is time for some people to come into the 21st Century.
Birther Nonsense.

It's a bunch of white supremists who don't want a black as supreme commander. Pure and simple racism. That is all.

It is so sad the way people insist on looking at the world. Why not look at things in a way that helps people instead of hurting them? Underneath our skin, our blood is the same color and so are our brains.

This is not about racism! Don't you remember when John McCain had to prove his birth? And he's white! Do your research.

Tom you should do your research! John McCain wasn't even born in the United States he was born in Panama. He never released his birth certificate and people still forgot about it. And his birth wasn't in the paper for like weeks! Obama's birth was in the news and he showed his birth certificate over and over and over and they're still going after him.
You can read about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_born_citizen_clause_of_the_U.S._Constitution

There was some question about Obama's birth but that's been resolved. Can we move on to something else? There are some very important issues to deal with like health care, social security, teenage and unwed pregnancy, foreign relations, gas prices, the economy, terrorists. Let's focus on those and how America as a Christian nation can best deal with the real problems that face us today.

Obama was born
and that's a fact,
if you don't get it now
you don't know jack!

That's what you get when you let some half-breed, half-man, half-monkey be in charge. He should be sent back to the jungle to climb trees, eat bananas and spend all day picking nits and scratching his butt.
I'm of course talking about Reverend Loveshade.

Rev. Bootie what is your problem? You talk about Revy Love even more than his fans. You must love him!
As for the President's birth, get over it. He was born, he's here and he's president. Do you want to go back to George W. Bush or maybe change to Birther Donald Trump or Newt Gingrich?

People will try anything to go after someone they don't like even if it doesn't make sense!
Christian Andy is right about focusing on important things, but I'm sorry but America is not a Christian nation! America is a nation of freedom of religion where everyone can worship as they please. Except sometimes the government interferes with even that!
If America were a Christian nation they'd make you be Catholic or Baptist or Christian Scientist or some other denomination. If you want to worship God as you believe be glad America's not Christian!

None of this will matter soon; the Earthquake to end all earthquakes is being sent by God. 200,000 true Christians will be raptured and the rest will be left behind.
Repend now before it's too late!
I know where I'm going; do you?

Its a shame that Ms Sarah Palin gave a contorted version of history yesterday to explain her way out of a gaffe she made last week on the midnight ride of American revolutionary patriot Paul Revere in 1775. China is protesting because the Dalai Lama is being met soon by President Obama. The Chinese don't want any publicity for Tibet. Why not? Because the Tibetan plateau, if you look, controls a great deal of China's water supply. Some big old rivers start up there and run from there down into China, the only water supply. If the Tibetans dammed those, China would have big trouble on its hands. President Obama, no doubt, is well aware of this. Soon, he's meeting the Dalai Lama, Tibet's spiritual leader. Coincidence, of course :-)

It's a beautiful country, more people need to recognise that.

Birthers do not care about the poor. Health Care is one of the biggest scams in the country. We pay plenty in taxes to cover health care but we blow it all on welfare. All of the other great countries have free health care and there isn't a good reason why we don't. Call your senator and let them know how you feel. You can get a different result if you want.
