Breastfeeding Two Girls is Beautiful

Chelsea Craig, the mother in the images, is shown breastfeeding her two daughters, Addy and Emilynn, in photos taken by professional maternity photographer Mae Burke.

Photos of a mother breastfeeding her two daughters is going viral. The photos taken by Mae Burke show Chelsea Craig breastfeeding her little girls Addy and Emilynn.

Some people are upset because you can see her breasts, including her nipples in some shots, and some people are upset because one of her daughters is no longer a toddler. Well guess what? Breasts don’t have an expiration date. There’s no warning saying when you’re supposed to stop using them. And whoever decided women’s chests are sexy and men’s aren’t was probably a heterosexual man. Let’s get over ageism and sexism and let life be beautiful.

An opinion of an individual member of The Loveshade Family does not necessarily reflect the views of the entire family.

  1. In spite of the disclaimer I’m certain all The Loveshade Family agrees with this. It’s actually an odd thing how the dichotomy of men being allowed to expose their chests while women can’t developed. Just as recently as the last century, in much of western society both male and female were required to cover their chests in public. Then a group of men protested having to cover their chests at the beach, and somehow it quickly became permissible for men. But not for women. It is sexist, and defining a specific age for weaning or, frankly, anything social, is ageist. Sexism and especially ageism are the two most accepted forms of prejudice in modern America, and that needs to change.

So true. Why should a mother feeding her child be hidden? We don’t hide other eating and every child has already seen breasts.

  2. The Loveshade Family supports this post. We all agree with it.

  3. Pope Hilde says:

Breastfeeding is natural and beautiful. It is sad that America and other countries such as Russia, which permits extreme pornography, wants women nursing at home.

  4. Rev. Bootie says:

I’m in favor of women showing their breasts whenever they feel like it. Or whenever I like to feel it.

You’re never too old to suck. Never.

  5. Christian Andy says:

There are many things that are beautiful when kept in private. Breastfeeding is one of them. This should not be done in public.

1 Corinthians 12:23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

    • TawTew the Naturally Perfumed says:

Isn’t there a verse in the Bible that says how beautiful breasts are?

  6. In England, young mothers think breastfeeding is unnatural and abnormal. Almost nobody breastfeeds very long if at all. You better believe Olivia breastfeeds.

  7. Leghornia says:

We shouldn’t have to hide our bodies. Some people think men just go crazy seeing a woman naked or even in underwear. Everybody needs to grow up!

  8. Bob Hansen says:

Oh god take that photo off
