Woodstock on the Moon

Woodstock on the Moon is coming soon to a planet near you!

Frankly, we hesitated posting this because it’s invitation only.  Even the real date was hidden until very recently (and then, by an urgent request, was quickly hidden again–ignore the dates on the poster). It’s something like, “Hey everybody, we’re having this great outdoor Pagan/Discordian/Naturist event and due to privacy reasons we can’t tell you when or where it is!”

But just as a reminder, here’s the reminder. If you know when and where The Gathering at the Grove is held, this is it. If you want an invitation, ask, but keep in mind all these have to be approved.

If you want to attend Woodstock on the Moon without an invitation, go here.

Original poster design is by Alden Loveshade (except the image of the moon is adapted from one from NASA).

EDIT: Post edited to insure inaccuracy.

It’s a good reminder! I hope I can go this year!

  2. Dr. Sinister Craven says:

I really wish I could go this year. But I can’t. Have fun everybody!

  3. TawTew the Naturally Perfumed says:

It’s too bad we need all these secrecy for a get-together of friends, but I suppose we do. I plan to be there, of course. We can get together in the spirit of love and harmony!

  4. TGGR says:

So your sockpuppets are having a convention, huh? F*cking Sh*t!

We censored two words of this comment not because we’re afraid of certain words, but because search engines might block this site because of them. Please see our posting policy. –TLF

  5. Miley Spears says:

Really should you be posting the real dates? I don’t have them on the wikis. Please change it back to the other dates, Ok?

    • That was my error; I was under the apparently mistaken impression that it was unanimous on the part of the organizers to post the actual dates. I will correct–rather, uncorrect–this immediately.

    • It has been corrected–or, rather, uncorrected. I sincerely apologize for this as we decided the decision to post the actual dates needed to be unanimous by the event organizers; I had thought it was. I will be more careful in the future.

  6. Mndy Yuko says:

I wish I could go but I have to play at the 4th of July concert. I hope everybody has lots of fun!

  7. Pet Girl says:

All this secrecy is silly. Like we don’t go there all the time and nobody knows where it is? It’s on private property, it’s not like somebody’s going to trespass or something.

  8. Pope Hilde says:

I would certainly love to go, but circumstances are working against me this year. If it happens again next year, I would love to go.

  9. I was told I have to be there this year so I will be! I wish Mindy could go its my first time going to Texas without her. 🙁 But I will be bringing some friends! 😉

  10. Thank you for linking to our “Woodstock to the Moon!” The date of our 50th anniversary event is no secret as “Woodstock to the Moon: 1969 Illustrated” opens June 8, 2019. The exhibition explores how illustrators portrayed the changing times at the end of the 1960s while commemorating the year of the Museum’s founding.

The exhibit runs from June 8 through October 27, 2019. It features works by more than 40 artists—some on view for the first time—as well as archival material, including, of course, work by Rockwell himself. We are located in Stockbridge, MA. For more information, consult our website.

  11. The Gathering at the Grove. Also known as Annabelle Comes Home. Congrats to Gary Dauberman on his directorial debut.

  12. Dolphin Blue says:

So now I’m totally confused on the date?

  13. Kieth says:

It actually could be confusing. People will expect the real dates on a poster. Might confuse some people.

  14. MileyFanGirl says:

OMG I heard Miley Cyrus is going to be there! OMG!

  15. Concerns are noted.

The posted has been edited (once again) to now not show a date other that 2019 and the first two letters of the month. If you still aren’t sure on the date, contact one of the organizers–or just plain old me.

After the event, I, the poster of the poster, will post a version of the poster that’s got the correct post. Date.
