Big three-year-old sister holding newborn baby brother.
All names in this entry are Discordian names.
It’s baby number three! Ms. M.C. gave birth to Cobbraven at 19.54 UTC Tuesday, 26 Dec. 2017. Cobbraven weighed in at 3,855 grams (8.5 lbs.) and was 51.8 cm long (20.4 inches). Mommy and Baby are doing great. Daddy, who worried tremendously over the birth of baby one, and a lot over baby two, has almost gotten used to Ms. M.C. giving birth. Almost. Older sisters Twinkleton and Wunderkätzchen are ready, willing, and able to help their new brother. The family didn’t get the same midwife as for their first two offspring, but got great help from Nurse Aislebeth. Once again, Untroubled Teen V, Ms. MC’s 18-year-old sister, helped with the birth which was at Roseneteeth Commune. UTV, who plans to become a midwife in four years or so, has already helped at all three of the couple’s births (starting when age 12) and several other births.
Congratulations to the family!

Once again, Reverend Loveshade and Ms. M.C. are excitedly expecting a new family member! This time it’s number three. Expected due date is 2017 Dec. 30, but the parents promise the baby will get a Christmas present anyway. Their whole commune is expecting the baby as they consider themselves one big extended family.
Their first daughter, Puffletoes Twinkleton, was born in June 2011, and their second, Wunderkätzchen (Kitty for short), was born in June 2014 (you might guess those are their Discordian, not legal, names). So this will be their first Western Hemisphere winter baby. (Ms M.C. said when you’re pregnant, cooler is better). The girls are busy working to get things ready for their new sibling.
‘I’m going to have a baby with my sister, and we couldn’t be more excited.’
Chalk that headline up as another one that’s not quite what you might think it is but gets attention.
“Funnily enough, there’s actually nothing remotely incestuous about my sister and I planning to have a baby together,” said Australian Samuel Leighton-Dore. Samuel identifies as gay, and he and his partner Bradley Tennant wanted to have a child with both of their genes. As science isn’t yet quite up to converting sperm into eggs, Samuel’s sister Bronte is providing the egg. They plan to have someone else be the surrogate mother.
In spite of the planned non-incestual arrangement, this is already stirring up controversy not only about incest but about the option of adoption. While we aren’t experts on Australian laws on children, biologically it seems Samuel may essentially be adopting his sister’s biological child.
In any case, we wish them and any future children well.
Once again, it’s a baby! Ms. M.C. gave birth to Wunderkätzchen at 17:38 hours Thursday, 12 June 2014. Wunderkätzchen (Kitty for short) weighed in at 3,858 grams (8.5 lbs) and was 52.2 cm long (20.55 inches). Both Mommy and Baby are doing great. Daddy, who worries too much, is recovering — but quicker than from the birth of their first daughter. Twinkleton is already wanting to help her younger sister. They didn’t think they’d get the same midwife as for their first, but at the last minute Nurse Velvet Hands became available. Untroubled Teen V (remember, all these names are their Discordian names), Ms. MC’s 15-year-old sister, helped with the birth which was at their commune.
Congratulations to the family!

I’m so happy I have another niece! Her name is Kimberly and she weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long.
She is the second niece I had on New Year’s Day. How can that be? Staci was born on January 1 2008 which is the American new year. And Kimberly was born January 31 2014 which is the Chinese new year. They’re both the daughters of my half brother Benny and half sister Brandy. I know that sounds weird but they aren’t related to each other. Benny is my Mommy’s son and Brandy is my Daddy’s daughter.
I thought they could give her a horse name because this is the year of the horse but they already decided. I feel if I have a baby I’ll wait until I see him or her before I decide on a name.
Anyway Kimberly and Brandy are doing great. Staci’s already trying to help she’s 6 years old now. Everybody grows up so fast! I can’t wait to see Kimberly I hope I don’t have to wait til spring break!
