“I’m not gonna play much golf, because there’s a lot of work to be done.” –Donald Trump
All right, so the title of this entry is hardly ground-breaking. Even supporters of Donald Trump say he lies (and may justify it by saying all politicians lie and they don’t care).
But comparing the number and type of Trump’s documented lies to those of hundreds of people in studies reveal a couple of startling things. Social scientist
For one thing, he apparently lies much more often than the average person. For another, Trump’s lies are rarely made to avoid hurting someone’s feelings, like many of us do (“Why yes, I really do like your new, whatever-it-is you’re wearing.”) Instead, Donald Trump’s lies are often the opposite: insulting and hurtful. He lies to insult people much, much more often than almost all of the rest of us. In fact, according to records of his public comments, his lies are 10 times more likely to be malicious.
Come to think of it, having listened to Trump speak, maybe that isn’t too surprising either.
I study liars. I’ve never seen one like President Trump.
Voter’s don’t seem to care whether candidates tell the truth

An opinion of an individual member of The Loveshade Family does not necessarily reflect the views of the whole family.
“Whenever a statement opens with the words “trust me” or “honestly” alarm bells should go off in your head. If the person saying these things were trustworthy or honest, they wouldn’t need to preface their statement by saying so.”
When Leaders Lie, Bad Things Happen
Great link! People need to pay attention!
Too many people in my generation swallow what they read on Facebook as truth, but think politicians are all liars. It doesn’t make sense. They trust strangers more than they trust the people they vote for to represent them?
The Media is a Myth
Obama did everything he could to change this from a Christian Nation to a liberal Nation thank goodness Trump is taking us back to a Conservative Christian
Yes, Donald Trump is an icon of Christian ethics. He is against people who aren’t a part of our culture taking our resources, just like Jesus taught in the story of the Good Samaritan. He’s bragged about having affairs with women to whom he was not married even when he was married to another woman, just like Jesus taught. He lies repeatedly, lying to boost himself and to hurt others, just like Jesus did. He puts the focus on himself and not God, just like Jesus did. He’s politically divisive, and puts issues of the political state above the spiritual, just like Jesus did. He built a tower he named after himself, gained followers who don’t question what he says or does, says he can do whatever he wants because he’s rich, lives in tremendous luxury gained from his rich father, and doesn’t travel on the road dependent upon the generosity of others, just like Jesus did.
Come to think of it, maybe Donald Trump is the Second Coming!
You posted here! Does this means the feud between you and you-know-who is over?
If you’re referring to me or to The Loveshade Family as a whole as “you-know-who,” we never exactly had a feud. There was some disagreement over the ownership of the Loveshade name which was resolved (we have it). JoX has permission to use the name Loveshade X as long as e doesn’t claim to be a part of The Loveshade Family.
There’s actually some cooperation going on here that right now is hush hush (Secret Projects wow!).
The Cheeto-In-Chief is an avid golfer. In golf “lie” has several meanings.

Given how much he plays golf, I would assume he lies most often about how many strokes he needed to get the ball into the hole.
The Roman Republic was terrific until it became an Empire with crazy emperors. Just saying.
I wasn’t looking for this at all, but stumbled on the quote of the day at Wikiquote.org that fit.
One must have faith in the best in men and distrust the worst. One must allow the best to be shown so that it reveals and prevails over the worst. Nations should have a pillory for whoever stirs up useless hate, and another for whoever fails to tell them the truth in time.
~ José Martí ~
Another quote of the day is related:
We’re all undesirable elements from somebody’s point of view.

Hurt me, Donald!

You didn’t clap for Donald Trump? Treason! Execute! Exterminate!
America is in a sad, sad place right now.
